Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the underlying factors contributing to divorce and the significance of childhood education, particularly within the family context, utilizing descriptive and analytical methods. The family, as the cornerstone of Islamic society and the primary social environment, plays a crucial role in shaping individuals' personalities and marital relationships. According to religious texts, proper upbringing of family members is essential; deficiencies in cognitive, emotional, and psychological understanding can hinder conflict management and foster misconceptions about marital relationships. The findings indicate that inadequate parental education can create a cycle of ineffective relationships and divorce in subsequent generations. Emphasizing appropriate educational methods and integrating Islamic values into the upbringing process, with a focus on nurturing critical thinking, are fundamental requirements for preventing familial issues. Additionally, lifelong education and individual responsibility for self-improvement are vital principles for personal and social growth. Therefore, to reduce divorce rates and enhance marital quality, families must prioritize proper character development from childhood and create a healthy environment for nurturing their children's intellectual capabilities.
